Overview

SKY Brasil is a pay-TV and broadband operator controlled, like DIRECTV Latin America, by the Waiken holding of the Werthein group. In June 2024 the two companies agreed with Amazon to distribute its satellite broadband to homes in South America, and SKY will sell Amazon Leo in Brazil using its national logistics and installation network.

On 24 February 2026 they extended the agreement to businesses of all sizes in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay, a potential market they put at 15 million companies, for sectors such as energy, agriculture and logistics. Customers will use the Leo Nano, Leo Pro or Leo Ultra antennas; SKY says availability will start gradually from the south of the continent.
