Starlink availability map: check coverage and waitlists by address
Starlink's official map shows, per country and per address, whether Residential, Roam and Business service can be ordered today, is waitlisted, or is sold out. It is the first check before quoting a site, and the source for the "150+ countries, territories and markets" figure.
What it is
The availability map on starlink.com is the only authoritative answer to "can this address get Starlink today". It is an interactive map (JavaScript, no static text) where you enter an address or drop a pin and the page returns the service status for that location: available to order, waitlisted, or sold out for the Residential plan, with Roam and Business availability handled through the order flow. Country-level shading shows where the service is licensed; Starlink counts more than 150 countries, territories and other markets as of 2026. The map is also where the launch dates for countries that are not yet licensed are shown.
What you can do with it
- Check an address before a site survey: a "sold out" cell means the local capacity is allocated to existing users, and a new Residential order goes on a waitlist; Business Priority plans are generally still orderable because they carry network precedence and higher pricing.
- Compare countries for a multi-site estate: a country shaded as "coming" has no service yet regardless of what a reseller promises, and the date shown is Starlink's own target.
- Explain a quote: in congested cells Starlink applies a one-off congestion charge on new Residential orders in parts of the US and elsewhere; the order flow shows it once an address is entered.
Who it is for
Resellers and installers, first of all: the map is the first step of every quote, followed by an obstruction check with the Starlink app on site. Enterprise buyers use it to screen a list of sites before asking an integrator for a proposal. For the regulatory side (why a country is missing), our country guides for the UK, the United States and Belgium cover the licensing and price details; the Singapore listing is an example of a market where Starlink is restricted to business and maritime use.
How to use it
- Open the map, choose the plan family (Residential, Roam, Business) and type the address; read the status and, if available, the monthly price shown for that location.
- For a sold-out cell, try the Business plan option or check the waitlist date; note that availability changes as satellites are added, so recheck monthly.
- On site, run the obstruction visualiser in the Starlink app: the map says nothing about trees, roofs or masts.
- Record the result and date in the quote; availability and prices differ by cell and change without notice.
Limits
The map does not show speeds, latency or cell load; for performance figures use the Starlink Network Update. It does not cover maritime coverage areas or the geofenced waters where terminals must be switched off (see the maritime guide), nor the direct-to-cell service sold through mobile operators. Business availability depends on the account type and is confirmed at checkout, not on the map.
