TRANSCOM

TRANSCOM is a Mexican technology company with more than 30 years of work in Latin America, based on Calzada Vallejo in Mexico City's Gustavo A. Madero borough. It specialises in connectivity and on-board systems for public transport, government projects and private companies, including international hotel chains, and describes itself as an official Starlink ally in Mexico; Starlink's reseller list shows Transcom with offices in Latin America and North America.

Its flagship project is the Vallarta Plus NEXT GEN luxury coach fleet, which it says was the first in Latin America to be fully equipped with Starlink, from payment to after-sales support. TRANSCOM also fitted the aircraft of executive carrier ALE with passenger entertainment systems, connected the main square of a state capital with little coverage, and supplies portable satellite briefcases to rescue brigades after natural disasters in Mexico and the United States.

The company reports its technology on more than 8,761 transport units in Latin America and more than 200 in-house after-sales technicians, and sells maintenance contracts. Its other lines are audio and video systems, digital advertising screens, licensed film and music content for vehicles, and security accessories.
