Paratus

Paratus is an African network provider based in Pretoria, South Africa. It connects businesses and communities across sub-equatorial Africa through its owned fiber, satellite, wireless, cloud, data center, and carrier services, providing Internet and ICT services via fiber, microwave, VSAT, and mobile LTE.

Paratus delivers multi-orbit satellite connectivity across sub-equatorial Africa. The company has five teleports serving over 5,000 customer sites across Africa and operates in 16 African countries. Its infrastructure spans countries south of the equator, offering contiguous network coverage across Africa. Paratus operates a dedicated Network Operations Center (NOC) across Africa.

Paratus also operates a Tier III data center, which offers 99.8% uptime. The Paratus Group operates a terrestrial fiber route named East–West Connect, linking Maputo to Swakopmund, and the Paratus Express Route is the fastest fiber connection from Johannesburg to Europe. Paratus has points of presence in the USA, UK, and Europe.
