Overview

Globalsat is the brand of GSAT Comunicaciones S.A. de C.V., a Mexican satellite connectivity company with its head office in Tijuana, Baja California, and an office in Azcapotzalco, Mexico City. It holds a public telecommunications network concession and appears on Starlink's list of authorized resellers for Mexico.

The company sells Starlink and OneWeb low-orbit services alongside geostationary Ku- and Ka-band capacity, and lists Hispasat and Comtech among its technologies and Hughes, Inmarsat and Starlink among its alliances. It says it has 25 years of experience, more than 70,000 antennas installed in Mexico and over 32,000 services running at the same time, and it runs a network control centre through which traffic reaches the public internet.

Its customers are mainly businesses and public bodies: oil and gas sites and field crews, retail chains connecting branches, payments and video surveillance, and government services in security, health and education where there is no terrestrial network. Globalsat installed antennas and Wi-Fi access points for the federal programme CFE Telecomunicaciones e Internet para Todos. It also recruits regional distributors on a recurring-commission basis.
