Overview
Bestel is the business telecom arm of Grupo Televisa, which bought it in 2007 for 325 million dollars. Since 2013 it has served corporations, public institutions and other operators as the business unit of izzi, with a national fibre network and local teams in all 32 states.
In April 2026 Bestel signed an agreement with Starlink to become an authorized reseller for companies in Mexico. It sells Starlink through its corporate sales team, with installation and support, and integrates it with its own fibre, LTE and microwave links in hybrid architectures designed per site.
The use cases named at launch are mining, oil, transport and logistics and retail, backup when the main link fails, and temporary projects. Coverage is national, subject to a clear view of the sky at the site. No prices are published.
