Starlink Installers & Resellers in Indonesia

Starlink entered Indonesia through the back door: in June 2022 the ICT ministry granted Telkomsat, the satellite arm of Telkom Indonesia, landing rights to use Starlink as backhaul for the Telkom group's network, not for retail. Consumer service followed in spring 2024 and was launched officially by Elon Musk at a health centre in Denpasar, Bali, on 19 May 2024, together with an agreement with the health ministry to connect remote community health centres.

What it costs

On 15 October 2026 starlink.com listed Residential Lite from Rp 510,000 a month (up to 200 Mbps, slower at peak times, not available everywhere), Residential from Rp 800,000 and Roam from Rp 900,000. Demand has outrun capacity before: in July 2025 Starlink stopped taking new customers in Indonesia for ten days, so check availability at your address before you plan around it.

Buying for a company

All the companies listed above are on Starlink's list of authorized resellers for Indonesia, and all are based in Jakarta. Telkomsat sells to businesses on top of its backhaul role. Primacom, appointed in August 2024, sells the service as PrimaStar with a 99% SLA and round-the-clock support. Lintasarta, IIJ Global Solutions Indonesia and Data Lake Indonesia are network and IT integrators, while Fiberstar, Skylink and Tangara Mitrakom complete the list.

For a mine, a plantation, a ship or a chain of sites across the islands, the reseller is worth its margin when it supplies the SLA, the installation teams outside Java and a backup link. Ask who installs in your province and how spares reach the site.
