Overview

GlobalTT-IPSEOS (GTT | IPSEOS) is a satellite operator based in the Einstein science park in Louvain-la-Neuve, with more than 35 years in satellite communications. It runs its own teleport about 20 km south of Brussels, linked to a redundant fibre backbone, and a network operations centre that monitors customer links around the clock.

Its core business is GEO VSAT for places where terrestrial networks are missing or unreliable, mainly across Africa and the Middle East. It offers C, Ku and Ka band, picking the band that suits the local climate, with dishes from 0.75 m to 2.4 m, its own iFAST modems, star or full-mesh topologies so remote sites can reach the head office directly, and internet and telephony over the same link. Offers cover fixed sites, transportable and on-the-move kits, and vessels.

GlobalTT also sells Starlink and OneWeb low-orbit services for land, mobility and maritime use, and recommends combining LEO and GEO with SD-WAN failover on critical sites. Its catalogue includes Iridium, Thuraya, Inmarsat FleetOne and BGAN terminals for voice and backup.

Customers are enterprises, NGOs, governments and institutions. For a European buyer the point of interest is a Belgian contract and support team for sites far from Belgium: mines, aid programmes, embassies or field offices.
