About this directory
Starlink has been legal in the Democratic Republic of the Congo since 2 May 2025, when the telecom regulator ARPTC granted a network and service licence to Starlink DRC S.A. A year earlier, in March 2024, the same regulator had declared the sale and use of Starlink kits illegal, so many terminals in the country were imported through informal channels. The companies listed above sell or install Starlink locally; this page explains how to tell them apart.
Check the retailer before you buy
Starlink publishes its own list of authorized retailers for the DR Congo: Best Buy, Radiocom, Losako Shop, Munya Services and Top Tech. Starlink warns that hardware bought from unauthorized sellers cannot be activated and that using it may get the service suspended. Radiocom and Losako Shop are profiled here; the three others publish no website or address we could verify. AXNUMERIC, OrbiteRDC and AntyTech are installers and independent resellers: ask them where the kit comes from, or buy it from an authorized retailer and hire them for the installation.
Kit price is not installed price
Prices listed on the companies' own sites in October 2026 show how much the offers differ. Losako Shop sells the Standard kit at 491 USD and the Mini at 250 USD, hardware only: activation, installation and subscription are extra. AntyTech lists 600 USD (Standard) and 400 USD (Mini) plus 100 USD for installation. OrbiteRDC lists 560 USD and 395 USD with installation, support and the first month of service included. Compare the full cost, including the monthly plan, rather than the kit alone.
Plan the power supply with the dish
Grid power is unreliable in much of the country, and a terminal is only as available as its electricity. Three of the companies here also design solar systems: AXNUMERIC (hybrid solar with lithium batteries), OrbiteRDC (solar and UPS) and AntyTech (solar studies, installation and monitoring). For a remote site, ask for one quote covering the dish, the mount and the backup power.
Multi-site projects and alternatives
For deployments across several provinces, AXNUMERIC delivered and installed 54 Starlink terminals with UNOPS for the national immunization programme in all 26 provinces. Organisations that need a GEO link with a local service contract can also look at Fastnet, an internet service provider offering VSAT from Kinshasa and Lubumbashi.
