Satellite Connectivity Providers in Spain

Spain has two satellite markets. The first is rural broadband: the CNMC counted close to 100,000 satellite internet lines at the end of 2025, ten times more than three years earlier, mostly Starlink dishes on houses and farms in areas fibre has not reached. The second is professional: fishing and merchant fleets, emergency services and companies that need a backup path independent of the terrestrial network. The providers above cover both.

Operators and authorized resellers

Telefónica Global Solutions, the international wholesale and enterprise arm of Telefónica, is an authorized Starlink reseller and can combine the satellite link with its own network services. Telefónica and Orange also took part in the first direct satellite-to-phone service used in Spain, switched on under an emergency authorization during the July 2026 fires in Madrid, Ávila and Toledo. Hispasat, the Spanish geostationary operator owned by Indra since December 2025, sells satellite capacity wholesale to operators and governments, resells Starlink and is one of the three industrial partners of the EU's IRIS² constellation. UFINET, headquartered in Madrid, is a wholesale fibre operator for carriers in Latin America rather than a satellite provider.

Maritime specialists

Grupo Arbulu is a marine electronics and satellite communications group on Starlink's reseller list; its company Aage Hempel installs and maintains communication and navigation equipment on board through 31 offices in 11 countries. For a vessel, the choice is between Starlink Maritime plans, VSAT, or both as a hybrid; compare the cost per vessel and the service at sea.

Regional installers

For homes and small businesses, the work is done by local antenna and telecom companies: Servotronic in Galicia, Instalación de Antenas in Madrid, Red Huevo in inland Alicante and Valencia, and independent installers in Valencia and Seville. Check that the company is registered as a telecom installer and that the quote covers the mast and the cable run. Prices, regions and installation costs are on the Starlink installers in Spain page.
