Bandwidth on Demand (BoD)
A satellite network management capability that dynamically allocates additional bandwidth to a user terminal or site on request — either manually by the network operator or automatically based on traffic demand — enabling efficient sharing of satellite capacity without over-provisioning for peak demand.
Beamforming
A signal processing technique that controls the phase and amplitude of signals across a multi-element antenna array to concentrate transmission or reception in a specific direction, enabling precise spatial targeting, interference suppression, and multiple simultaneous beams.
