About this directory
Canada was one of Starlink's first markets, with service from 2021 in rural and northern communities that fibre and cable never reached. Its place in public policy is contested: Ontario signed a deal of nearly 100 million dollars in November 2024 to connect 15,000 rural homes and businesses, then cancelled it in March 2025 in response to US tariffs. On mobile, Rogers launched its satellite-to-phone service with Starlink in July 2025.
What it costs
On 15 October 2026 starlink.com listed Residential 100 Mbps from CA$75 a month, 200 Mbps from CA$115 and Residential Max from CA$150, which includes a professional installation. There is no upfront hardware cost in selected areas.
Business resellers
The five companies above are on Starlink's list of authorized resellers for Canada. SaskTel, the Saskatchewan provincial operator, has sold Starlink for Business since April 2026 and publishes its prices: kits from $418 and Local Priority from $75 for 50 GB, installed by its own technicians anywhere in the province. Network Innovations (Calgary) is a communications integrator combining satellite, radio and cellular links for remote sites. iTel Networks (Calgary) pairs Starlink with Peplink routers for 5G/LTE failover and bonding. Frontier Networks (Burlington, Ontario) and Convergia (Montreal) are business connectivity providers selling Starlink across Canada and the US, and across the Americas for Convergia.
For a business, the choice of reseller is about what comes with the link: installation, a managed router with automatic failover, a single bill with the other services, and support in English or French.
