KSAT

KSAT is based in Tromsø, Norway, and provides Ground Network Services and Earth Observation Services for spacecraft and satellites. Its Earth Observation Services include Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and high-resolution optical satellite imagery.

KSAT's global ground network supports missions in LEO, MEO, GEO, HEO, and Lunar orbits. With over 50 years of experience, KSAT invented the concept of Ground Station as a Service (GSaaS). Its Global Ground Station Network has more than 280 antennas at 26 locations.

For data acquisition and TT&C requirements, KSAT offers KSATmax. KSATlite is a fully automated Ground Segment-as-a-Service, designed for small satellites and mega-constellations. Over 150 operators rely on KSATlite for ground operations, utilizing a network of over 150 antennas (3.7m to 6.1m) covering S-band (up/down), X-band (down), and Ka-band (down).

KSAT offers KSAT Lunar, which it describes as the world's first purpose-built ground station network for lunar communications. KSAT has implemented operational Ka-band support and is investing in optical communication for a hybrid RF/Optical network.
