Algar Telecom

Algar Telecom is a Brazilian telecom operator headquartered in Uberlândia, Minas Gerais. On 12 March 2026 it announced that it had become an authorized Starlink reseller in Brazil, with an offer for business (B2B) customers across the whole country.

Companies contract directly with Algar, which handles customer service, consulting and the integration of Starlink with its other connectivity services. The link can be the main connection at sites without fibre or other fixed networks, or a redundant route for operations that need constant connectivity. Brazil is Starlink's second-largest market, with more than a million residential and business customers according to the company.
